COH Staff Nurse Recruitment 2024 – Qualifications
(1) Candidates holding a Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) degree (Regular) from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council/Gujarat Nursing Council or a General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) diploma from a recognized institution under the same councils are eligible to apply.
(2) Auxiliary Nurse and Midwife (ANM) and Female Health Worker (FHW) candidates who have been serving in the state government or Panchayat services for the last 10 years in a regular position and possess the educational qualifications of B.Sc. (Nursing) or GNM, as specified in the advertisement, can also apply. They are eligible for age relaxation as per the prevailing government rules, but in no case should the age exceed 45 years. They must submit a “No Objection Certificate” from the respective department.
(3) At the time of application, it is mandatory to have permanent and periodically renewed registration as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife with the Gujarat Nursing Council. The registration number for both the Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (or equivalent qualifications) must be mentioned in the application form. No other qualifications will be considered valid.
(4) Applicants must have sufficient knowledge of both Gujarati and Hindi languages.
COH Staff Nurse Recruitment 2024 Age Limit
The candidate’s age should not be less than 20 years and not exceed 40 years as of the last date for application, i.e., 03/11/2024. For reserved category candidates, upper age relaxation will be applicable, but under no circumstances should the age exceed 45 years on the specified date.

Candidates selecting the “General” category are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 300/- plus postal charges (Rs. 300 + charges in the case of online payment).
