GSSSB Clerk Bharti 2024 Educational Qualifications
(1) The candidate must have a graduate degree from any university established or incorporated by or under a central or state act in India or any other educational institution recognized as such or any other educational institution declared as a deemed university under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.

The candidate must have an equivalent qualification recognized by the government.
(2) The candidate must have basic knowledge of computer usage as prescribed in Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.
(3) The candidate must have a good knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both languages.

GSSSB Clerk Bharti 2024 Selection Process
Stage 1: Preliminary Examination
- The section consists of four subjects: Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English, and Gujarati.
- Each subject carries a different weight in terms of marks:
- Reasoning: 40 Marks
- Quantitative Aptitude: 30 Marks
- English: 15 Marks
- Gujarati: 15 Marks
- The total marks for the section are 100.
The preliminary examination will be a computer-based test (CBT) with 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) of 1 mark each, for a total of 100 marks. The duration of the examination will be 60 minutes.
There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
Visually impaired candidates will be given an additional 20 minutes per hour.
The preliminary examination will be a screening test only. The marks obtained by the candidates in the preliminary examination will not be considered for final selection.
All candidates who submit their application fee will be allowed to appear in the preliminary examination, subject to the verification of their application.
At the end of the preliminary examination, a separate list of candidates who have qualified for the main examination will be prepared for each of the Group A and Group B categories.
For each category, seven times the number of vacancies to be filled on merit will be considered eligible for the main examination.
Candidates who have qualified for the main examination will be provisionally admitted to the main examination, subject to their fulfilling the educational qualification, age limit, and other eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement.
The main examination will be conducted in two stages:
Stage 2: Main Examination
After the first stage examination, a descriptive examination will be conducted for Group A candidates, while a CBT will be conducted for Group B candidates.

The minimum qualifying standard for both the preliminary and main examinations is 40%. This means that a candidate must score at least 40% in each stage of the examination in order to qualify for the next stage. This minimum qualifying standard applies to all categories of candidates.
