To provide teachers per class, a decision has been made to fill the vacant positions available in government and aided primary, middle, and high schools, especially in schools selected under ‘Mission 2 School of Excellence’. For this purpose, 15,000 Knowledge Assistants will be appointed for primary schools, and based on the contract, 11,500 Knowledge Assistants will be appointed for middle and high schools.
For contractual appointments, Knowledge Assistants in the primary section will receive a stipend of INR 21,000/-, for the middle section INR 24,000/-, and for the higher secondary section, they will receive INR 26,000/-.

Candidates who have passed the TET-2 exam for the primary section, TET (Secondary) for the middle section, and TET (Higher Secondary) for the higher secondary section can apply for job-based appointments as Knowledge Assistants.
