India Post GDS Recruitment 2023 Government of India Ministry of Communications Department of Posts has published notification for ‘Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Online Engagement: Schedule-II, July, 2023. Online applications are invited from the eligible applicants for engagement as Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) [Branch Postmaster (BPM)/Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM)/Dak Sevaks]. Applications are to be submitted online at https://indiapostgdsonline.gov.in/.
Individuals wishing to apply online must first complete the registration process on a designated portal. Applicants are required to have successfully passed their Secondary School/10th Std examinations from a recognized educational board and meet the specified age criteria. The selection process may involve the creation of an automatically generated merit list. Those candidates who are chosen will be appointed in various locations across different states. As part of the application process, aspirants are expected to submit the necessary fees via the computerized Gujarat Post GDS 1901 Bharti system.

India Post GDS Recruitment 2023 Qualifications
For all approved categories of GDS, it is essential to hold a Secondary School Examination pass certificate from a recognized Board of School Education sanctioned by the Government of India, State Governments, or Union Territories in India. This certificate should affirm the successful completion of the 10th standard, with satisfactory performance in both Mathematics and English, which were taken as either compulsory or elective subjects.
Moreover, the applicant must have pursued the local language, namely (Name of Local language), up to at least the Secondary standard, either as a compulsory or elective subject.
Additional Qualifications:
- Proficiency in using computers.
- Proficiency in cycling.
- Adequate means of livelihood.

- For Female, SC/ST and PWD candidates: Nil
