As per the latest information, a plea has been filed in Supreme Court asking for the cancellation of the NEET UG 2021 September 12 exam and conducting a fresh exam. This has been sought over the alleged paper leak conspiracy that came to light after the examination.

A writ petition has been filed in the SC by various aspirants, demanding a re-exam as the earlier paper was ‘possibly leaked’. Seeking intervention by the court, the petitioners claim that the initial investigation has established the fact that NEET UG examination was ‘irreversibly vitiated’ due to use of fraudulent means. Hence, the exam should be conducted afresh in the interest of genuine and deserving candidates.
